How heartwarming it was to see the crowded room of the CW Fudge Factory and hear the warm conversations last night. Music by Bob and Peg Cullen, a local painter named Ann demonstrating her work, sangria, punch, chocolates and fudge--what a perfect recipe for a literary event.
And, of course Gar, one of the main characters in Through Pelican Eyes, was a hit. How could our plaster of Paris gargoyle who was saved from destruction not be?
And to top off the evening, our good friends, John, Chris, Lilly and Eva were with us from Iowa to share in the fun.
So, thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy lives to listen to me read and have me sign their books. It was a special event I'll remember forever.
