It's Sunday and I just got my new used bicycle on the road. Brought it to the library for it's virgin ride. If it weren't so hot out I'd enjoy the ride more. Bike helmet? This time around, yes. Three season's ago my old black bike that was given to me complete with a bell from India was stolen out of my garage. That was such a bummer it took me this long to replace it.
But here I am again enjoying the fresh air hitting my face. I do love riding a bike. There's a sense of freedom involved that appeals to my inner self.
I'm chapters into the third Jessie Murphy mystery and getting invites ready for the Launch of the 2nd Edition of the Old Wolf Lady.
The writing life is just fine on this lazy August afternoon.
